In India a tobacco company has introduced a new kind of cigarettes called the ''super'' cigarettes or electronic cigarettes. Electronic cigarette is like an actual smoking experience but not any toxins. It is safe substitution of traditional cigarette.

These breed of cigarettes provide smokers with the same satisfaction without any of the harmful side effects. Super cigarette looks like a regular cigarette, in size and also in shape. The white part is the product's battery and the ''filter'' is a replaceable cartridge. Diluted nicotine is kept in the gadget.

These e-cigarettes have been made for smokers also who, even after being aware of the deleterious effects of smoking, find it difficult to quit. The electronic cigarettes work on the simple principle of 'nicotine replacement therapy' and give the smokers the satisfaction of a conventional cigarette and of course minus the carcinogenic elements.

When the smoker starts inhaling, the atomizing chamber converts the diluted liquid nicotine into vapor and this satisfies the smoker. The vapor evaporates soon, causing no irritation to people near the smoker.

Sunil Praveen Kumar of SPK Company that has brought the product to India said: "These cigarettes are called electronic cigarettes or super cig. And, for the first time these have been introduced in Chennai. We are getting this from Hong Kong and this particular product is used to quit smoking using nicotine replacement therapy."

There are also many other forms that gives the smokers the real feeling of cigarette without the dangers of traditional cigarette, such as chewing gums and patches.
Scientists reported that a traditional cigarette has got around 4,000 chemicals among which 24 are cancer-causing chemicals. But in the e-cigarettes it is used nicotine replacement therapy that just give a diluted nicotine, water, glycol and tobacco perfume for to give the smokers a real feel of smoking.
Electronic cigarettes can be smoked anywhere indoor outdoor anywhere, because it have no detrimental effects.
